Green Compliance Certification (GCC)

Green Compliance Certification is a program prepared by accredited specialists in technical and environmental fields in cooperation with Sustainable Solutions for Consulting and Environment, with the participation of several local and international entities. It is based on approved global standards.

Many entities and institutions are keen to apply sustainability and environmental standards in a way that may look attractive on paper, but in practice may not achieve the desired goals. This can happen because an unsuitable technology is selected, or because unnecessary additions expose these institutions to more costs and losses, while also failing to improve the carbon footprint.

For this reason, Green Cycle introduced the Green Compliance Certification initiative with a mechanism that achieves green environmental effectiveness for institutional buildings while also delivering ideal financial and technical feasibility. The certification is especially suitable with the major development in carbon footprint calculations and the opportunity to benefit from modern carbon market concepts. GCC is granted to entities that apply environmental and sustainable implementation effectively and meaningfully across five core sectors:

  • Building energy efficiency and measurement of associated technical and environmental indicators.
  • Water conservation and measurement of associated technical and environmental indicators.
  • Waste management, proper environmental handling, and measurement of associated technical and environmental indicators.
  • Indoor air quality in the building and measurement of associated technical and environmental indicators.
  • Building security and safety and measurement of associated technical and environmental indicators.
